Currently I am on the Vercel hypetrain, been using it for a few months now with Next.js and a few stacks that involve it and I have to say the hype is real. The lengths someone has to go to host full stack projects elsewhere is insane compared to the ease of Vercel.

These little "about me" blurbs are always awkward. I am just a dude who loves web design and software development. This portfolio is something I thought would represent me and what I like. I am inspired by a lot of abstract art and neofuturistic concepts. Movies like Blade Runner and Akira, video games like Death Stranding and Cyberpunk. My hobby is taking dreams and making them reality. For the longest time it's just been a hobby, now it's a job. That's all there is to it.

I enjoy what I do and hope that passion comes across in the things I create.

"A complete overhaul and rework"

Two months after my first officially large project, I completely rewrote the entire app from the ground up using TypeScript, Next.js, Prisma, TRPC, React and mySQL. From local storage client side rendering to authentication, server side rendering, more features, faster rendering, everything 100x better than my original project.

This cutting-edge bill tracking app has been built from scratch using the latest JavaScript technologies and MVC architecture. With its intuitive and user-friendly interface, my app was built to help improve people's lives. No signup required, no data exchange, simple and no non-sense.

In this, I successfully developed an AI opponent to play Connect 4 that utilizes cutting-edge algorithms. The AI has been designed to provide an engaging and challenging experience for players of all skill levels, with a focus on delivering a seamless and intuitive gameplay experience.

I was tasked with creating a modern and professional website for a small business based in Pennsylvania. Intensive research into the client's industry and target audience helped me to create a visually appealing and user-friendly design, optimized for both desktop and mobile devices. The site also included key features such as search engine optimization and integration with social media platforms. Throughout the development process, I worked closely with the client to ensure that their vision was fully realized.

"The scene must grow, a strong landing page always works."

Having co-founded the largest fighting game community outside of Vancouver Canada in British Columbia, I required a landing page to handle the influx of new players in 2023. I designed and built a bot to be able to take discord posts and turn them into JSON objects that the site could read and display for the moderators of my community to easily update the site with no training required.
